Ms. Woung serves as a Managing Member of IP EDGE, where she focuses on asset valuation, market analyses, and monetization-strategy development, in addition to business development for IP EDGE’s Asia-Pacific regional offices.
With experience drawing from a variety of roles, such as serving as patent and transactional counsel for some of the world’s leading technology companies, as well as a software consultant for leading Fortune 500 companies, Ms. Woung’s expertise is diversified within various business and technology-development capacities. And with consulting experience across a variety of industries, Ms. Woung’s market expertise encompasses such sectors as financial services, clean energy, eco-friendly technologies, and information systems, among others.
Ms. Woung holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Rice University and a Juris Doctor from University of California in Los Angeles School of Law. She is admitted to practice in California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Bodepudi serves as a Managing Member for IP EDGE, where he negotiates and executes monetization strategies, directs marketing and lead-generation efforts, and provides client-service delivery.
Mr. Bodepudi has been active in the patent space for nearly a decade–he is responsible for generating more than US $25M in licensing and brokering revenue. Mr. Bodepudi has experience in all aspects of patent monetization, including strategic prosecution, litigation, licensing, brokering, and portfolio management.
Mr. Bodepudi holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Pant serves as a Managing Member at IP EDGE, where he identifies investment and divestment targets, designs proprietary software tools to identify undervalued assets, and conducts market analyses.
Prior to co-founding IP EDGE, Mr. Pant served client needs across a variety of industries and service roles. In the legal context, Mr. Pant counseled corporate clients in large-scale litigations, where he frequently traveled to Asia to directly serve client needs. Mr. Pant further served as prosecution counsel for numerous corporations, in which he prosecuted patent applications across a variety of technological arts .
In the business sector, Mr. Pant served as an Account Manager for a Fortune 500 client, where he was responsible for managing multi-million dollar accounts in the client’s automotive and wireless-infrastructure business units. In this role, Mr. Pant proactively worked with engineers to design a more efficient component in a product line worth over US $50 M, and sold the design implementation to client, without any competition from competitors; a rare instance in company history.
Mr. Pant holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland at College Park, and a Juris Doctor from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Texas and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
